Chan Shealy is a devoted family man, happily married to his wife Beth, and together they are blessed with three wonderful children: John Thomas, Hannah, and James. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Lexington, South Carolina, Chan's passion for music blossomed within the walls of his local church. It was there that he discovered his innate talent and unwavering love for the art.
Chan's educational journey led him to Columbia International University, where he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Bible, Church Music, and Vocal Performance. Armed with a solid foundation in these disciplines, he embarked on a fulfilling career in ministry. Chan's dedication to his craft was evident as he collaborated with numerous churches, lending his expertise to establish and nurture their music programs from the ground up.
In recent years, Chan has had the privilege of serving as the Interim Worship Pastor at both Lexington Baptist Church and River District Church. These invaluable experiences have further honed his skills and deepened his understanding of the profound impact that music can have on congregations.
Presently, Chan finds himself at an exciting crossroads in his journey. God has graciously opened doors for him to explore new avenues of creativity. He has been given the remarkable opportunity to write, record, and produce music for various gospel groups, while also devoting time to completing his own album, aptly titled "Prayer Warrior".
